Started. Oops butterfingers.

I wonder how many of them starred first time?
David (@thefatfryer.bsky.social) reply parent
And totally unsurprising…
David (@thefatfryer.bsky.social) reply parent
If it’s any comfort my staff do that to me after a week off…
David (@thefatfryer.bsky.social) reply parent
That’s for nothing. Was in Renault today getting the protection pack fitted. Guy came in asking about the 5. Told him it was fantastic. As it is!
David (@thefatfryer.bsky.social) reply parent
Just check the mileage. Most are only 5k but sure you can change it. Unless you want the look the standard 5 is plenty fast enough and I drive in eco🤣🤣🤣
David (@thefatfryer.bsky.social) reply parent
Of course. As soon as I leave my shop a bus pulls up. As soon as I return the opposite. Must be the same with rain!
David (@thefatfryer.bsky.social) reply parent
Thanks Rob. So many memories. God I am old! I don’t remember most of them looking as good in period. It’s a credit to the owners. Thanks again.🙏
David (@thefatfryer.bsky.social) reply parent
No but if you change it to the bigger battery and 3/36 10k it increases a bit. The residuals on these are amazing, hence the cheap monthly payment.
David (@thefatfryer.bsky.social) reply parent
Well said Beverly!
David (@thefatfryer.bsky.social) reply parent
Not unless the Fridge is announcing it…
David (@thefatfryer.bsky.social) reply parent
Why has nobody realised that there is many good reasons for immigration. Open up legal routes rather than the illegal ones and finally they can’t out Farage Farage. It’s not that hard.
David (@thefatfryer.bsky.social) reply parent
Because both their comms team and political team are crap. Changing the proverbial deckchairs isn’t a fix.
David (@thefatfryer.bsky.social) reply parent
Me too. The answer is always Gary.
David (@thefatfryer.bsky.social) reply parent
You obviously don’t fall into the less is more form of engineering?
David (@thefatfryer.bsky.social) reply parent
Of a prick with a flag.
David (@thefatfryer.bsky.social) reply parent
And don’t get started on the major consumer facing companies phone systems. “I’m sorry I didn’t understand that” ffs.
David (@thefatfryer.bsky.social) reply parent
Overpay. That is always a good move. Even if you pay a little extra each month the ask for the overpayment to go off the capital. That way you can take years off the mortgage. We did it and it worked for us. (I’m not qualified!lol)
David (@thefatfryer.bsky.social) reply parent
AI is always the answer… sigh.
David (@thefatfryer.bsky.social) reply parent
Aren’t we all?
David (@thefatfryer.bsky.social) reply parent
One of the joys of living in Belfast is the micro climate and obviously lots of rain means that rainbows are very common. It’s still a joy to see one though.
David (@thefatfryer.bsky.social) reply parent
Over engineered because it is way too complex or just the usual way too expensive?
David (@thefatfryer.bsky.social) reply parent
It looks delicious. And it would be of if I liked cheese. Congrats!
David (@thefatfryer.bsky.social) reply parent
But it is so much cheaper to kick the can down the road instead of trying to find the actual reason of the absence and do something about it.
David (@thefatfryer.bsky.social) reply parent
Going for the whole Bet Lynch look for the Corrie fans?
David (@thefatfryer.bsky.social)
Light hearted and funny, as I expected. Have a read. It’s free!
David (@thefatfryer.bsky.social) reply parent
Very witty as per expectation. I will have a wee listen to the podcast. So that’s another possible voter in the bag. Er, if you stand in Belfast. Sorry.
David (@thefatfryer.bsky.social) reply parent
I think living here for this long somewhat inures you to the undercurrent that is somewhat hidden but always present. Still a fab place to live.
David (@thefatfryer.bsky.social) reply parent
I forgot about the those, and perhaps the Discovery? They look odd but compared to 4D plates at least they are not as bad.
David (@thefatfryer.bsky.social) reply parent
My goodness it is. But the undercurrent is still there. If a row breaks out it will split in the old way. I have been in the middle of it before. It is a fabulous place to live. It takes a blow in to see the place as it is.
David (@thefatfryer.bsky.social) reply parent
And he sold his soul for a shot at the top job. Sad really.
David (@thefatfryer.bsky.social)
If it isn’t Jack elected I would be shocked and disappointed. Excellent communicator is just what the Greens need. Good luck mate!👍
David (@thefatfryer.bsky.social) reply parent
The police would be too busy arresting pensioners with cardboard signs…
David (@thefatfryer.bsky.social) reply parent
I’m surprised you could actually breathe!
David (@thefatfryer.bsky.social) reply parent
In my wee sit in couples sit opposite each other on their phones. I have asked them if they are texting each other? Why don’t the young actually use it as a phone?
David (@thefatfryer.bsky.social) reply parent
And what will they get exactly from this half million of taxpayers money. Prob very fvcking little…
David (@thefatfryer.bsky.social) reply parent
What a charge sheet. Pity only a few will actually read it and understand. God help the USA, you are going to need it…
David (@thefatfryer.bsky.social) reply parent
And will sell it for the right price. In the meantime it’s taxpayers money and fowl drinking water from it. The last reservoir was build in 1960. We have added nearly half a million to the population since then. Doesn’t compute…
David (@thefatfryer.bsky.social) reply parent
Absolutely beautiful and an amazing photo. Thank you!
David (@thefatfryer.bsky.social) reply parent
It is a shame it’s posthumously but he should be recognised. Also it’s a shame that Belfast is as divided as it was. It’s a fragile peace but peace it is.
David (@thefatfryer.bsky.social) reply parent
The only saving grace is they are not an artist and the Union Jack is complex to paint.. especially if you have a couple off screws loose…
David (@thefatfryer.bsky.social) reply parent
And now he walks around with his hand bandaged. Is he trying to do a Michael Jackson tribute?
David (@thefatfryer.bsky.social) reply parent
My old next door neighbour had one. He loved it but the tin worm loved it as much as he did. How it got a MOT was guesswork. Or luck.
David (@thefatfryer.bsky.social) reply parent
Hell will never be full until he is in it…
David (@thefatfryer.bsky.social) reply parent
The most overqualified gardeners in the world. I wonder if they could pop over and sort my back garden out?
David (@thefatfryer.bsky.social) reply parent
Great photos Alan. My first car was a Dolomite 1850 (insurance wasn’t the con it is now) I would love to get another. Some day.
David (@thefatfryer.bsky.social) reply parent
Yes but a worrying percentage will fall into the arms of Farage. That is a bigger worry…
David (@thefatfryer.bsky.social) reply parent
She just seems to be exactly the opposite of what she promised when she was elected. Silence then trying to walk the tightrope between Farage and Genrick. Fascinating and quite sad. I can’t see her lasting much past the conference.
David (@thefatfryer.bsky.social) reply parent
Come to Belfast. The whole of the Shankill has the Union Jack bunting up the entire road and flying flags from every lamppost. It’s like that every year. It’s not exactly inclusive…
David (@thefatfryer.bsky.social) reply parent
God I remember those being launched. Went to the dealer to have a look. Really cheap to buy and even cheaper plastics.
David (@thefatfryer.bsky.social) reply parent
Now I have been in Belfast for more than 20 years (so I am still a blow in!) The divide is still there, the paramilitaries are still here so the risk he took to get “peace” is amazing. In a few years he will be appreciated more. Perhaps.
David (@thefatfryer.bsky.social) reply parent
Are they actually legal?
David (@thefatfryer.bsky.social) reply parent
It just isn’t there yet. Try phoning Sky, Virgin or any large company. It’s useless. In five years time perhaps they will get it right?
David (@thefatfryer.bsky.social) reply parent
Lovely photo and great location.
David (@thefatfryer.bsky.social) reply parent
The styling is awesome. In Belfast the dealer is great and I tried to get the husband to get one. But the interior quality was not great and unfortunately the test drive the rattled down the road. Shame.
David (@thefatfryer.bsky.social) reply parent
A man who sacrificed everything in the hope of peace. He was completely instrumental in the peace process. Unfortunately it meant the DUP take the votes from him. Welcome to Northern Ireland!
David (@thefatfryer.bsky.social) reply parent
Excitement? 🤣
David (@thefatfryer.bsky.social) reply parent
And talking through it too…
David (@thefatfryer.bsky.social) reply parent
I tried to order next months but strangely they were out of stock….
David (@thefatfryer.bsky.social) reply parent
Wow, every day is a school day. If I had the space (and the garage) I would look for a Dolomite Sprint. Had the 1850 as my first car. Until the tin worm got it…
David (@thefatfryer.bsky.social) reply parent
Fab though it does have the pope mobile about it…
David (@thefatfryer.bsky.social)
Stop and think about this quote. No really stop and digest it.
David (@thefatfryer.bsky.social) reply parent
Oh well at least there is next year🤣
David (@thefatfryer.bsky.social) reply parent
It’s a decent price but I don’t think it’s will be easy or cheap to keep in its current condition. Lovely though.
David (@thefatfryer.bsky.social) reply parent
And when you have a presidential doctor that makes him an inch taller so he doesn’t fit into the obese category. Something is up, you are right. President Vance anyone?
David (@thefatfryer.bsky.social) reply parent
Yes but seeing the same cars from different angles gives me deferred pleasure… Yes I’m a bit sad and old but I have loved cars from no age.
David (@thefatfryer.bsky.social) reply parent
I think the Deform votes is a protest against the classic parties of Labour or Tory. They haven’t worked we will try the new one. They spend so little time thinking about politics they don’t see the holes in their offering…
David (@thefatfryer.bsky.social) reply parent
Drive safe. If you are that tired stop and have a wee nap. My friend wrote of his 924S from falling asleep at the wheel. He was ok, the car wasn’t…
David (@thefatfryer.bsky.social) reply parent
Fab. More pictures please. Hopefully i can get a feeling of how good it was! Thanks.
David (@thefatfryer.bsky.social) reply parent
Ben, This is governing. They don’t use logic or clear communication as you did. They need a story of where we are going and why to bring the public with them. Not happening yet….
David (@thefatfryer.bsky.social) reply parent
Oh I am as jealous as old Nick! The Irish sea is the most expensive to cross in Europe…. Glad you had a good time mate. More pictures if you have them to?
David (@thefatfryer.bsky.social) reply parent
Of course. Made up numbers on the back of a napkin doesn’t give me much confidence… sigh.
David (@thefatfryer.bsky.social) reply parent
Come to Northern Ireland and you will see nothing but flags. You know immediately what side of the divide you are in.
David (@thefatfryer.bsky.social) reply parent
Totally agreed. But from what I have seen the “black hole” in the finances is getting bigger by the day…
David (@thefatfryer.bsky.social) reply parent
As we say in NI, they will be as common as arseholes! 🤣
David (@thefatfryer.bsky.social) reply parent
Agreed and it may be nothing but it was interesting that he deliberately kept his hands under the table?
David (@thefatfryer.bsky.social) reply parent
True, and has a large support. However when they have the power, after being voted in, how well they actually govern?
David (@thefatfryer.bsky.social)
Mark, as usual hits the spot. The Home Office is too large, to unwieldy and needs serious reform.
David (@thefatfryer.bsky.social) reply parent
And what the dumfuck Wilson doesn’t realise that Fridge will force a border poll than actually do any of the hard work. “It’s the will of the people “ or other shite.
David (@thefatfryer.bsky.social) reply parent
In the same way that Sammy Wilson is frothing at the mouth thinking that if Deform have their wish a hard border will be back in Ireland. Madness.
David (@thefatfryer.bsky.social) reply parent
Three years ago a lease on a iX3 was about to expire $700 a month. Although they hadn’t got accurate figures their best guess was $2k a month but probably more. Mmmmm wonder how many they will sell?
David (@thefatfryer.bsky.social) reply parent
It’s a new space saving parking method though?
David (@thefatfryer.bsky.social) reply parent
Or divulge that responsibility to whoever sounds good on the telly…
David (@thefatfryer.bsky.social) reply parent
Don’t worry chum. You pick whichever rag fits in to your world view. Just a different form of bias.
David (@thefatfryer.bsky.social) reply parent
Thanks, but it’s the News Letter (owned by David Montgomery, yes that one) to look like the more successful BT. Bastards.
David (@thefatfryer.bsky.social)
Yep. Again.
David (@thefatfryer.bsky.social) reply parent
True. Possibly. I wonder as many assume Google is always right, this trust is expected in AI?
David (@thefatfryer.bsky.social) reply parent
Good luck. I hope you don’t have an attack. It’s hateful.
David (@thefatfryer.bsky.social) reply parent
Oh so that’s why a lot of local branches of Boots shut suddenly…
David (@thefatfryer.bsky.social) reply parent
Followed, thanks Andrew. Nearly forty minutes of a shitty Ryanair flight home tomorrow sorted!
David (@thefatfryer.bsky.social) reply parent
Followed. Good luck!
David (@thefatfryer.bsky.social) reply parent
Followed. Thanks for the info.
David (@thefatfryer.bsky.social) reply parent
Democracy Reform style.
David (@thefatfryer.bsky.social) reply parent
He will, of course, blame everyone else.
David (@thefatfryer.bsky.social) reply parent
Do any of those billion know what an AI hallucination is?
David (@thefatfryer.bsky.social) reply parent
I’m 59 and didn’t know!🤣
David (@thefatfryer.bsky.social) reply parent
I hope you are not questioning the world class vetting procedure of Deform?
David (@thefatfryer.bsky.social) reply parent
I have only seen one out in the wild in Belfast. I’m not sure who was more excited me or the other pillock coming the other way!
David (@thefatfryer.bsky.social) reply parent
And as the brightest and best are fleeing the states we should make it easier and cheaper to reverse the brain drain.
David (@thefatfryer.bsky.social) reply parent
If I didn’t put flag up I would be down two knee caps…
