For too many people and for way too long, the American Dream has been just that - a dream. Not realistic. Not accessible. And with Donald Trump tearing down our institutions to the studs - it’s making that Dream even harder.

Too often I find myself looking at Washington wondering, “Where is the fight?” We know where it is. In rooms like this one. It’s time to make Washington a heck of a lot more like Michigan and write that New American Dream together.
