In your mind, is politics a competition between purists and pragmatists? How forensic

Yeah, usual centrist sub A-level rubbish masquerading as wisdom when it's really what they have been told to think. What do I know, I only worked in it for years and published four books on it with major presses. And none of that matters anyway. Morality does have absolutes...

Soz for getting into a row with that account and then blocking. Just galls me. Need not to bother really, it never changes things.

Only the (frankly weird) right wing Starmerroids are still supporting Labour at this stage. And I say it as a former member and activist.

Labour have got some things wrong, some things right. Their messaging is terrible. But on the whole they are on the correct direction. Do I expect miracles? No. Do I want Reform? Never. I’ve seen fragmentation of the left for too long to know where it ends up.

Labour leaders' own words and actions are terrible. I see them as no different than the tories or their more extreme wing: Reform. Labour is not detached from that political cess pit. These people would prefer a right wing dictatorship over a fair society all day.

By making such crass assumptions and assertions you must have been one heck of a political advisor. Corbyn had his chance. To make a difference you need broad political support. Labour are far far from where the Tories and reform are. Do I agree with everything? No, bcs that would be idiotic.

It’s reality. You can sit sipping your latte in self congratulation but achieving nothing or you can be pragmatic and make a difference for the better.

Suit yourself. Try and construct a rational argument rather than bang the ideological drum.

OK and you keep on talking in weird clichés. Labour bangs the ideological drum for the far right and for genociders in Israel, their paymasters. Enjoy their demise.
