Good analysis. My annoyance with MA, besides the loathed League Cup, is how late he makes his subs. For Saka, Rice, Ode, coming off at 65 rather than 83 minutes seems like it should help long term. Has anyone analyzed whether his subs are actually late compared with other managers?
I actually think he's less stubborn about this than Wenger was.
Hmm, that's not my impression, but many year have passed, so who knows if I'm remembering corectly. I would like to see someone analyze this rigorously -- seems like the numbers should be easy to obtain with the right API.

Interesting, thanks for sharing! Would love to see someone stretch that out over like 3 seasons and incorporate the minutes data. Hopefully the transfer business this summer helps with that and it's not just Arteta being stubborn.
