Been thinking about this the last buncha months. For example, the Heritage Foundation founder died last week; idk anything about him or it, but people had a "finally" attitude towards the headline. The measure of a life is how beloved you are when you die. And you get to decide that.
Seeing a lot of "but he did bad things" posts and yes, yes he did, but he often tried to do right and tried to apologize/do better. I'm not going to defend him, but more people need to try to do better and apologize when they do wrong.

You shouldn't rely on Xtian scripture for information about Jewish sects. The Pharisees were focused on bringing Jewish religious practices out of the Temple & into everyday life. They are the creators/ancestors of rabbinic Judaism. They left behind extensive records of their teachings.
