Have you tried chia seeds? You've got to soak them for a couple hours but I like them more than psyllium husks. I found them after I went down the lead psyllium husk rabbit hole. Tried a bunch of different stuff and landed on chia. It also balances stuff both ways. And a good source of Omega 3s.
