I will! I knew there was a reason we had so many in the garden but my old brain did not recall. And I don't really trust AI generated recipes on Google. Thank you for your wise advice!
Never trust AI, I saw a woman in a foraging group who made “a nice fish sauce” out of a plant the AI ID said was one thing, her husband refused to eat it unless she asked actually foraging experts… turned out it was Hemlock!
Jeez! We have plenty of nice mushrooms and wild stuff along the road to the forest nearby, but I would not touch it without an expert at hand.
I’m the same, I forage the things I know well but I leave anything else until I have studied it a bit & recognise the difference between similar plants. I am yet to forage mushrooms because I’m not confident enough yet. It’s all good fun learning 😁
