Nate Silver has the speech patterns that I would expect from gay men from the south who can't reconcile their parents' religion with reality. it's as clear as the diamond in the mud to me.

The "I'm normal, those other gays are weird" tactic, yes. I see that and I can't help but think "weird? whaddya mean weird? It's not weird. YOU'RE WEIRD. If it were weird there wouldn't be so much of it!"
