At the same time he's cutting hundreds of billions from Medicaid. Who do they think will pay for this treatment, and where will you put the patients? Oh, right, Alligator Auschwitz was just the first camp. wapo.st/4kP1UQl

The “states” will be responsible like they are with education, medicaid, disaster relief, food programs etc. We all know how rich the states are🤦🏼‍♀️

He's still in the hotel business. He's just pairing it with the GOP's gulags-as-UBI business model now.

They'll probably house them in all of those hospitals that have been defunded and have to close, right? Oh, wait...

My daughter worked in mental health and you are exactly right. There are no treatment beds, there is no "community support" this was the myth in the 70's when the treatment facilities were closed. People who work in this field are so poorly paid, with large caseloads. Broken system.

More concentration camps, there will be no health care. Only lining the infested pockets of the tyrants in charge. I never thought I would live to see this, but I'm alive to fight it.

My great aunt worked at Cleveland Psychiatric in the 80s At least back then, the reason so many homeless folks showed symptoms of mental illness is they did not have the bed space to care for everyone in extreme need So, they would regularly get turned loose with a bottle of pills & a prayer

What I’m saying is untreated mental illness is a major reason for homelessness and even when we had state run asylums (problematic unto themselves), they didn’t have the space or the funding to humanely take care of patients and there’s no way that’s changed now (gonna be gulags all the way down)

Right. They were horribly underfunded and understaffed.

No, but don't underestimate voluntary compliance by red states. They LOVE permission to be cruel.

I think you know, but just spelling out for the class: the EO is merely a pretext to begin rounding people up. There is no criterion for identifying the people to be institutionalized, and our medical system has no due process. (Remember, RFK jr already previewed his plan for ADHD work camps.)

The new slave class. That's where they'll end up... work camps, paid for by US tax dollars.
