Today in the garden: cucumbers are starting, the first two squash blossoms, a bunch more green garlic, and the back bed coming along now that zucchini are in (but the caterpillars have found the brassicas 😱). #gardening #zone6b #veggiegarden

The first two tiny cucumbers starting to form. The Butterbaby squash has two flowers, both male. Garlic hanging to dry outdoors. A garden bed with tall pole beans, eggplant, zucchini, peppers, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, beets, green beans, spinach, and a border of various herbs.

Do you ever eat the zucchini blossoms? I've heard they're tasty, but never had the opportunity to try them.

I never have, but I know some people bread and fry them. That’s kind of a production considering I have so few, so I just let the pollinators enjoy them.
