I can't count on both hands how many times I swear at VS Code and mutter "I'm gonna @#%@# somebody" because of the visual and stimulatory overwhelm it gives me. Even my AuDHD friend has no idea what I'm talking about? Am I really that alone in this?

Sometimes I really miss just the days of opening like, SublimeText. Yeah, it didn't do my type hinting for me. It also didn't turn entire 200-line files into a blood red murder scene of squiggles on every other edit and puke up AI slop suggestions at me at every turn. The slop gets my ADHD bad.

And then just add to this the constant pressure to be on top of random Slack messages throughout the day. People asking me for a code review with urgency because a QA person got bored, ran out of work and bugged the scrum master. Nobody in dev ever leaves me the fuck alone anymore, not even my IDE

Work is making me trial some AI stuff and I just rage mash the escape button constantly telling it to STFU. I asked it how to turn its own suggestions off and it didn't know. I looked it up and did it and I'm still getting them. WTF. Me at work: "Stop. Stop. Shut up. Stop. STAAAHHP."
