The consensus mechanism and veto power is the real bottleneck and the Kremlin knows this. With enough Russian blood money and one EU member caves, the initiatives are blocked. As more states join, this needs an overhaul after the 2 goons are gone.

Ty.. 👍🏼 I read some version of Article 7 (google version lol) that wasn't very clear to me.
It revokes amongst others voting rights. The problem is that all other members need to agree. Which in the current situation is unlikely. I think they are too soft on countries that abuse veto rights or go against its basic values & principles. Zero tollerance is needed to prevent erosion.
