I just got security training and my options for "which of these things is a sign someone is not a spy" were "suddenly drives nice car", "attempts to access areas they aren't allowed in", "works bizarre hours" and "Chinese"

My assumption about "training" like this is that they're about intimidation, not education. Obviously no one is ever going to learn anything but if you're a racist it's gotta be uncomfortable being told "your beliefs are the wrong answer to every question we ask"

Yeah, I guarantee a shitload of people got that question wrong too. Same thing with sexual harassment training where for anyone normal it’s a dumb waste of time, but like 20% of the company they’re just lost
