The problem is a lack of principle in the candidates people are expected to accept. It's constant degradation to the point where we're expected to vote for candidates who arm a fucking genocide. There is no bottom. It's time to start decorating the town gates with their heads.
I don’t disagree, but at the end of the day, we have three choices - Dem, Rep, or (essentially) not voting. Not two of those things will mean anything to either political party, in practice. Until there’s a legitimate chance for a better candidate in the general, at that point you need to be smart
I’ve been working on educating folks about what’s wrong with the existing system, and funding and elevating campaigns that aim to improve it - RCV, an end to the electoral college, etc.
