"Trump has seen a decline of 10 points among White people without a college degree, a key part of his political coalition; he is also down 13 points among adults under age 30 and 11 points among those who say they did not vote in November."
"Trump has seen a decline of 10 points among White people without a college degree, a key part of his political coalition; he is also down 13 points among adults under age 30 and 11 points among those who say they did not vote in November."
Still too high.
so the people who couldn't be bothered enough to get off their ass and vote aren't happy with the results? You gotta wonder why they're answering polls, but too lazy to cast a ballot.
If you didn’t vote in November then all I can say is F-you for unleashing this chaos on the rest of us
He really doesn't care. He ran to stay out of prison and for REVENGE. He doesn't give a damn about his poll numbers or popularity. He LIKES pissing off the American people. He gets off on it.
The mouth breathing base.
My office manager didn’t know who the vice president was. I’m tired.
To those that took time to respond to a poll (assuming because they are now being affected) but didn’t take time to vote…🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼
🎯🎯🎯
Yes! Came here to say just that. Who cares about the ones who didn't vote?
Would disagree, in that they represent a group of potential voters who could be mobilized in the next election. Trump's winning 2024 strategy was based in part on bringing out "low-propensity" voters.
That is one reason the polls underestimated what turned out to be the result: www.npr.org/2024/11/12/n...
Then they got what they didn't vote for. I, for one, have no sympathy for them.
Elections have consequences, as we're all seeing. I can't be bothered with sympathy for those that didn't bother. I've heard the argument that elections don't matter, but obviously they do.
Exactly. If you didn't vote, nobody cares what you say because you're a pathetic pile of human garbage.
How’s he doing with the uninformed and disengaged? As I recall these folks propped him up bigly
www.washingtonpost.com/politics/202...
You mean people are actually admitting they didn't bother to vote? Those fuckers?
The 11 point decline by those who didn’t vote doesn’t mean anything. If they didn’t vote last time they are not likely to vote
But what were white people with college degrees doing ever VOTING for him? Did the working class voters ever really think Repubs, DJT or any other, were on THEIR SIDE? The real reason we can't have nice things is real dumb ass voters.
Apparently the uneducated don't love him back.
It turns out, that the Mad King has no clothes, and that the majority of Americans prefer a PG-13 presidency.
Too late unfortunately. He's already in office doing major damage to your country.
Exactly. He got their vote….and could care less about them
I hope these polls are putting pressure on the Rs in congress.
Just wait until tariff effects kick in shortly.
You mean to say these undereducated white people are thinking they were wrong and didn't perceive what was happening after all? There are easier ways to learn than trashing the country's reputation and economy. Maybe read some real news and stop watching Fox? Maybe a local Community College class??
What percentage of U.S. citizens can even read at the 10th grade level?
So now we're grateful for stupeasses...how great is that
The problem is that around 65% of American adults do not have a higher education diploma or degree. They’re the ones that vote for idiots like tRump and MAGA.
That's quite an assumption, Russ. And it's wrong.
Educational attainment plays a significant role in shaping political preferences in the United States.
The problem is your numbers are wrong. You should site percentage of those who actually VOTED, which is 64% of those eligible. Of that 64%, approximately 39% voted for Trump. Of THAT 39%, approximately 56% did not have higher learning. Approximately 64% of all Americans have advanced education.
In the 2020 election, Trump secured 67% of the vote from white voters without a college degree, compared to 32% for Joe Biden.
Until then my only happiness is MAGA CULT MEMBERS will feel some pain also. 😭
The majority don’t really know what is going on…
The MAGAts in N. MI have not gotten the memo. Their disgusting Trump flags and banners are still flying. 🤬
People who didn’t vote can stfu.
Cross tabs in the various recent surveys show whites are still >50% generally in favor of his anti-immigrant policies.
Makes sense. The ONLY way to get through to these people is when their own personal bottom line is affected. They don’t care if the world burns other than that. They can’t look away from their own wallets though. Don’t need an education to see that.
Some people are slow learners. Others are too prideful to admit the mistake they created.
So what?
They would vote for him again if there was an election tomorrow.
Yay dumbass hillbillies are finally getting the picture. Screw them all and I’m even someone who could be considered a dumbass hillbilly since I’m white without a degree.
Maybe the word has finally turned. Folks of all economic strata and educational backgrounds are recognizing the same thing: Trump is a train wreck as POTUS. He’s a goon masquerading as a politician.
The findings suggest that the president has overinterpreted the meaning of his victory over former vice president Kamala Harris ... A majority think Trump has exceeded his authority, a majority say the economy is worse and about half say that U.S. leadership in the world has become weaker.
And so many of us have voiced this to elected representatives like Senators Scott and Moody, Representative Cammack. They must pivot and fulfill obligations to serve for the interests of the people not the reckless president.
He “overinterpreted” his first win, in which he had 3m fewer votes, his first loss in which he had 7m fewer votes, and his second win in which he had only 49% of the votes.
Trump's margin of victory was one of the smallest in over 100 years. No where even close to the mythical "mandate" Republicans keep lying about. bsky.app/profile/buck...
Great chart. Thanks for sharing.
Say it again and again. And not sure he’s capable of interpreting anything. He’s too far inside his own jellied brain.
He won’t care. If he doesn’t care what the Supreme Court says, he won’t care about this. He’ll just lie and say he’s doing great. At some point the GOP up for reelection will care though…
Please - he is not sitting and thinking anything! The Kremlin, oligarchs and Heritage Fnd found their Trojan house and he’s just a puppet. Trump literally has no idea what is going on. They don’t care - they have power and they will destroy everything while they can and while we let them.
Trump is famous for his rational approach to governance, his cool, shrewd ability and willingness to accurately consider the interests and sensibilities of the country before taking his typically measured actions. This was a rare "misinterpretation."
So many just fail to grasp how bad it really was under Biden. All of this is his fault. Bigly.
He/they don’t care. They won for whatever reason and now he/they are going to do whatever they want.
Trump likes to claim he won "bigly" when he really just squeaked out a victory. Any "mandate" he enjoyed was to lower prices, which he's botched massively.
💯
dude won 1 on 1 by 1 per cent. over a girl he had height and reach on.
I would like a president to be tougher with Putin than he is with Harvard.
But has the success of GOP Gerrymandering, made this kind of Demographic polling Obsolete in 🇺🇸? Election Results come down to a few thousand votes in a few swing states.
Updating a pithy saying for the times, 'That and 6 bucks will get you a cup of coffee'.
The ones who didn’t vote need to sit down and shut up. They contributed to this shitshow.
