In general, all groceries are much higher. You probably don’t do the family shopping. It’s quite a depressing adventure. Oh, and pet food is horribly high. Buy their food before I buy mine
groceries higher? check... I do all the grocery shopping for my family. get the Vons/Albertsons app, get the Kroger/Ralph's app, check weekly deals. Get a $65 Costco membership, buy pantry in bulk. I choose to see it as a challenge, not depression inducing, already enough other stuff for that.
