No, some asylum seekers are housed in hotels which provide them with food from whatever contractor was cheapest. Often no flexibility for children or dietary needs.

I assumed there was no self-catering available in any of the places and that's what the £7 a day was for.

Some of them have self catering and some don't. They get £10 a week if they have food
