Just repeating for posterity that I will never, ever, for any reason, vote for Gavin Newsom. I wouldn't even vote for him for dog catcher.

I struggle with it too. I will absolutely not vote for him in any primary but I would probably give in and vote for him in a general if he was running against Trump. Even the Allies had to team up with Stalin to first defeat Hitler. A vote for Newsom wouldn't fix anything but it might...

Other people can and should vote how they feel best. I still think he should have been run out of public life after the French Laundry thing and will never, ever vote for him.
