Hale-Bopp was the best. I did this selfie with my trusty Cannon AE-1 and Fujifilm 400 ASA that brought out the ion tail. #astrophotography

We were living in Houston then. We drove out to the west of the city with the kids so they could see the comet. "Where is it?" they said. "Up there" and I pointed. "No, the spaceship that we're going to use to go up to the comet"! Too many visits to NASA at Clear Lake I think 😂
