Exactly. The countries she named had/have a total breakdown of society. There are a lot of regions in Africa I'd rather live in than in the desolate regions of the US. I always ask someone like this about the average life expectancy in Africa. They're probably way off, and Africa makes big strides.

I think they really wanted to say the West is best though. And had they decided to zero in on Asia they’d surely point to Afghanistan as an example of where not to live and they’d completely ignore the West’s involvement in the country’s state.
