Back to school next week. This crosswalk sign was struck in April and still lies as a reminder of priorities on our road - speed, not safety. This is a well used school crosswalk, with no crosswalk guard to my knowledge

A crosswalk sign lies in the grass next to the four lane Lacewood Drive, near Braeside Lane. A blue truck speeds past. In the distance, a 50 km/h speed limit sign. Few drivers travel at this speed or slower

The teeeeny traffic cones. There were some that small on Barrington when I was there a few weeks ago, just blowing about in the wind.

the ones on Dunbrack right now make you slow right down. Some traffic lane narrowing would do wonders for these nightmare arterials

Is there work going on on your end of Dunbrack too? I noticed a bunch of pylons and a wall of jersey barriers when I was on the greenway last night.
