I realized recently that they frame it as if it’s rural areas, but really, it’s the suburbs. It’s the rich people from the city who don’t live in the city, and the rich small business owners from the country side who don’t like in the country side. It’s actually the wealthy suburbs.

Thomas Frank nailed it when he specified it's not just the top 1% that's the problem, it's the top 10-15% and the entire professional-managerial class that props it up that's the problem

I’m very much okay with abandoning the rich suburbanites and throwing them into the trash and under the bus or whatever they want to do to them. Let’s see if we can all agree on this version.

I'm for it. I'm from Ohio and in every election these people say the classist trope, "I'm not from Ohio, I'm from Cleveland" (spoiler they don't, they live in suburbs like Iron City or Lakewood or Parma).
