A minor point but one that's annoying: neither of those coffees are lattes. Those are just coffees. The closer one has a bit of milk, but the other one by the guy they're implying is a "performative male"'s right hand is black coffee.

Feels like a major point to me! Looks like an ordinary diner/pub setup where they're putting exactly as much milk in their caffeinated beverage as they want like anyone else! Help!
