Don’t turn on them please. Obeying orders is paramount & could jepardize their livelihood. Put yourself in their boots. Deploying them to U.S. cities is the problem. They aren’t trained for civilian crowd control.

20% of the police are military veterans. Every time the government used military on the people, the military ended up being hostile. This includes Kent state & civil rights protestors in the 60's. Majority of military votes Republican and will think their orders are just. This is a FACT.

You need to be able to understand the statistics to properly cite facts. 65% of military voters polled is not the same as 65% of the military. Only 12% of the people who voted in the election were military. 88% of people polled weren’t affiliated w/ the military.

Nice try but it isn’t true. Soldiers will be tried by a military court and stripped of rank, money and sentenced to hard time. Instead encourage the Sargent Schultz approach to illegal orders. “I do nothing, I know nothing, I see nothing.” Noncompliance by inaction is effective and legal.

Us veterans, dating back to the 50's, 60's, 70's and 80's and beyond talk about just that. We still feel honor bound by our oath even though some served a 3 year, 20 year or longer enlistment. NONE of us would do what these soldiers, National Guard or Active, are being ordered to do. Armed? No!

The NG belongs to the state, not the Pres. DC os the only unique Guard because DC isn't a state. If the NG is let loose in NY, blame your governor. The President can't just deploy NG in every state. That said, he can deploy the active duty Armed Forces, ex Marines in CA. That's your worry.
