Not sure I like that whole 'act like they own the city' thing. My Alliance chars know how to act like a gracious guest. It smacks of yet another stealing of agency away from Alliance players in order to serve a plot point, just like in Legion with the Nightborne going Horde.
PREACH!!! It also completely fucks over those who RP neutral characters, like me! Seriously, after DF and TWW I fully expected factions to be further dissolved, because factions suck imo and nothing good ever comes from them since Cata.

I mean, your character is not the canon NPC characters haha, and the game has never blamed the Alliance PC for what happened with the Nightborne. I don't expect they'll be blamed for anything here either.
Tyrande got thrown under the bus for nightborne in horde & then Thalyssra got character assassination to justify her participation in the war Blizz is going to do it all again. If the Alliance behaves badly it will feel contrived and justified If the horde behaves badly they're ungrateful again
Other players will react as if mine were the shitty guests, tho. Unfortunate that PCs get penalized for the behavior of NPCs.
That's a part of being in a collective.
But by that logic there will be other players that don't act like the horde npcs and will offer olive branches to respectful guests. It goes both ways.
Dude I KNOW you aren't claiming the Alliance are the ones lacking agency of late. Legion was almost 10 years ago now and Horde has been nonstop hanging out with Alliance NPCs for almost all of TWW and a good chunk of DF.
I'm not claiming that at all. I'm saying in this specific circumstance, if Blizz saying 'A can't go there cos they act like they own the joint', that's penalizing the *players* for something NPCs are doing. Just like A players worked their asses off in Legion for NB and NB went Horde in a cutscene.
