I remember as a kid when the polio vaccine was released. ALL parents in our community of 10,000 were lined up in the local parks waiting to get entire families vaccinated. It wiped out polio pretty much. Only one child (in MY class!!) got polio; she suffered the effects for the rest of her life

Yes it does. I was too young to remember getting my Smallpox Vaccine but I have that classic faded scar on my shoulder. I’m 67 years old, and adults all the way into 50’s are at risk. Doubt they got it. Maybe some did and others didn’t. We can’t be sure the old Vaccine can still protect elderly.

All of the diseases we have vaccines for are awful and can result in death (measles, tuberculosis, whooping cough, polio). We have vaccines because scientists have tested them time and time again and they help far more than they harm. I dont get why people would take chances with their kids lives
