I know people in my profession who are upset to be in a union. It’s incredible how many people think and vote against their best interests. It’s ignorance at best, stupidity at worst. I have sympathy up to a point. But sometimes people have to learn the hard way when life gets worse for them.

So true, years and years ago, working in HR at Westinghouse, we waited to see what GE and their unions agreed to, and then those same programs were installed at the circle W. Union gains are still shared with non union employees to avoid union organizing campaigns.
So why don’t they join them?
Because of the anti-union legislation on the books of many states that make forming and maintaining unions difficult, the millions spent by corporate management to prevent unions, etc.

Me, my dad was a union worker, we never had medical bills or concern about medical bills. Along came Republican Reagan who weakened Unions, who destroyed small steel towns and this was the Beginning! My dad warned me, never vote for a Republican.
