Lies by DHS bc the crew was detained for 3 hours, and all firefighters were questioned, pics were taken of their ID's and they felt intimidated, ICE was waiting at the end of a one way gravel road as per interview with one of the Tribal firefighters.

The bullshit DHS is trying to pull here reminds me of the mass layoffs during the early days of Trump 2. They laid off people at FDA and insisted it had no impact on safety because they didn't lay off inspectors. But they laid off support staff, who were critical for inspectors to do work.

I guess MAGA doesn’t know that a majority of wildfire firefighters “just chop firewood” (aka cutting tree and clearing brush). Not a lot of fire hoses out there in remote areas. It’s about firebreaks, removing combustible material in advance of the fire.
