You may need more evidence than just this quick sound bite. Let's start with the flood. This has by no means mean debunked. Evidence for the flood is stronger than ever today. Have you done sincere research into proponents of it? Or was your research only from the perspective of the debunkers?
I think there is no need to dive into complicated articles review for this one. If the flood was a thing, how come ancient civilization were not wiped out a that time ?

If we take the Bible for a valid history book, the flood must have happened in 2348 BC. But ancient Egypt begins towards 3150 BC and ends in 31 BC. So there is an issue.
Why?
Do you really need me to explain why ? If the flood happened in 2348 BC, ancient Egypt should have ended in 2348 BC, since everyone would have died.

There is no knock-down proof of what you're proposing as a problem for the Flood narrative. All we can know about what happened thousands of years ago is that it happened thousands of years ago. We cantbe sure what happened when. Did you know that every culture has a Flood legend?
