Does that even smell the same anymore? I haven't bought cake soap in a long time. I used to use Irish Spring as a blade lubricant for jewelry projects. If you break up the bar, you can put it in an old deodorant tube thing, and then melt it in the microwave so it's easier to use (as a blade lube).
I don't know. I buy Beekman cake soap. Goat milk. Lasts forever. Little smell. I have a sensitive nose.
I love those guys! Did you ever see their show back in the day? Or read Josh's book "The Bucolic Plague"? I am like you, I have to use scentless soaps, like truly no scent, not what passes for scentless sometimes. I used to really like Ivory soap, but that stuff is basically detergent now.
Me too. Been following them for years. And Violet the blue eyed goat. Not read the book. My friend loves the big bar soap because it lasts forever and gets you squeaky clean.
I haven't been following them recently, it's been a while actually so I am not familiar with Violet the blue eyed goat. I imagine their soap lasts a while, because they properly cure it. There's nothing quite like the squeaky clean feeling from real soap.
I am also chronically cheap! Just thought I would mention that.
Of course. Beekman is expensive. They practically put the whole neighborhood to work during the pandemic so they won my heart.
It's not really expensive, they sell a quality product that lasts, so it all works out in the wash.
