I was just watching a show about baking that mentioned how ciabatta was invented in 1982 to compete against baguettes being used for Italian sandwiches.
This is a logistics nightmare. The fees, so many fees!!! It's like back in the day when the phone company would spend $0.20 on a stamp to send you a check for $0.05.

Saw one sea slug - Navanax inermis - which predominantly feasts on nudibranchs🥺 That's OK, they're stunning too and need to keep up this spectacular coloration. This one was only about 6 or 7 cm long. An opisthobranch sea slug, smaller relative of the sea hares. 🦑🦀

I have this love hate thing with AI chat... On one hand it gets to the point quickly (something I struggle with) and answers my questions without a bunch of fluff, jargon, or corporate speak, on the other hand I recently saw a report that showed some people's electricity bills have tripled... 1/2
Last year I had to call a plumber (water main burst), and I was talking to an AI "associate" for a while before it repeated itself and I asked if it was AI and it said that would refer me to a human. The voice was so normal, it was scary!

I haven't been following them recently, it's been a while actually so I am not familiar with Violet the blue eyed goat. I imagine their soap lasts a while, because they properly cure it. There's nothing quite like the squeaky clean feeling from real soap.

I am so sorry you had to go through that. No child deserves to feel this way and be treated this way, even if they are a little stinker. Not suggesting you were. I assume you were a good kid.
He used to beat me as a deterrent before events, so I would act "proper", despite me never having acted out or having done anything to embarrass him in the past. There was no winning with him. The wind would change and so would his mood. Then 2mins later he would wonder why we were all upset.
Then came the "tests" where his abuse would be brought up (usually by his sister) & he would blatantly say "I am no longer abusive, I use my words now", then he would look at me, grit his teeth & say "isn't that right?" I would have to say "yes" or else the beating once we got home would be worse.
Since then I have been very weary of "help" because the beatings just got worse, especially when he was in anger management classes. It's like he took all his angst from the class out on me. Then came the guilt from his side of the family! Who were also raised with an abusive father.
I just took an online version of that test & I got an 8/10. No one talked about depression or mental illness, so I answered that one "no." No one was ever arrested. In middle school I broke down in front of a councilor and they turned my dad in and all it did was make things worse for me.

Does that even smell the same anymore? I haven't bought cake soap in a long time. I used to use Irish Spring as a blade lubricant for jewelry projects. If you break up the bar, you can put it in an old deodorant tube thing, and then melt it in the microwave so it's easier to use (as a blade lube).
Ohh, those are the people who A. have self control, and B. who end up passing out bloomed chocolate. Though I would suspect that most of the chocolate made these days is so full of fillers and stabilizers that it doesn't bloom as easily as it did when I was a kid.
