I just don't understand why someone wouldn't have the legal authority to light these cars up. They make zero effort to identify themselves, roll up on someone with guns pulled.

We do have legal authority to defend ourselves, especially since these guys have no jurisdiction over US citizens, but we'd probably end up dead (they have a lot of guns) or in jail for a long time awaiting trial to prove it was self-defense

ya, it would definitely be an absolute mess to deal with. I did some research and states with stand your ground laws I think you'd have a pretty real argument for just shooting through the glass at them

and you're absolutely probably ending up dead, not sure they're going to let you surrender. I just don't think everyone is going to care to find out who is blocking them in

Unfortunately, it's kind of more what I'm getting at. Not that I'm promoting it in any way since it'll likely end up with the driver of the car dead. It's just only a matter of time, especially since this appears to be something that you could defend?

from my own research those are the states I'd think for SURE you'd have a real argument. They do have authority stipulations in their stand your ground laws, but they all say clearly identified authority, which this isn't the case. This car even made an attempt to get through with the first car

Sadly, I have a feeling this administration would be thrilled if a member of ICE was gunned down in that manner. They would martyr him and use it for more justification that they can go even more authoritarian police state. I'm sure they are eagerly waiting for this outcome.

Cops don't have to show discretion when rolling up on a kid with a toy, but I got to when 2 unmarked cars block me in and come out with guns aimed at me? Ok buddy.
