I can pretty much guarantee that the minister will step in, and lo, the remaining books on this list will pretty much entirely be ones with queer and trans content, which was where they started off this moral panic.

Yes, media always goes crazy when it's boomer can lit classics they've read, and then when those titles get taken off and it's just queers they go back to complacency. Like PEN Canada for example, never covers queer lit bans despite queers always being at the top of the banned lists.
