Even unladen mine rides well. Just gets better the more weight you add. Maxed out the payload with bottled water once, delivered via a B-road, and even the brakes held up to my spirited driving. I’ll be keeping this for a long time.

I don't mind the 18s, but 17s will no doubt make the ride extra dreamy. They really don't mind being hustled, do they?

No, not at all. Especially once you’ve worked out how to switch the gearbox into manual (took me a while 😂) not quite as much fun as a Transit Custom, but certainly more comfy.
