Just imagine the level of tactical voting that’s going to need to be required to stop Farage from making things immeasurably worse. It wouldn’t be so bad but the current lot aren’t exactly being perceived to be giving it a decent crack by anyone.

The Lib Dems should come out and just be shouting "Hey, we aren't the party with Nick Clegg, we're good people now". Other than that, I can't see a way of defeating him, certainly not in my area.

They could shout anything they want and they’d still barely make a single headline. It’s a disgrace that they’re barely given a platform by the mainstay of the media yet we can’t escape the nonsense peddling prick.
