This is on my list of things to do as well. I have a couple including a pretty hand crank Singer that I don't want to mess up.

I have 3 of the bentwoods, but I also have a Frister-Rossmann in a different style case that'll need a bit of adjusting to this design, I think. It's full size unlike the Singer 3/4ths.
