Needed to speak to more disability activists: those bodega ramps are usually not able to be used independently by manual wheelchair users. Would love it if the Times had wandered around with wheelchair users to see just how practical these ramps really are.

You can tell just by glancing at the picture they show! Door would be impossible to open from a wheelchair and not auto and without a button to push, these "ramps" are inadequate and outdated
