CDC was the world leader in infectious diseases until Jan 20th, 2025 when CDC was forced to remove itself from WHO and there was censorship on what could be said or published/presented so CDC scientists could not go to domestic and international meetings or publish.
This is so sad. CDC has been the gold standard for public health data. It’s this administration that is causing people to distrust the data. That said, surveillance data from CDC should still be accurate.
