"Ana" sent us this photo from where she was harvesting grapes in Kern County CA yesterday. It was 91° at 12 noon and felt even hotter under the dense grape vines as airflow is limited which creates a pocket of hotter temps. #WeFeedYou

No puede ser saludable trabajar con ese calor. Tener que hacerlo con la preocupación de ser deportado es totalmente inaceptable. (It can't be healthy to work in that kind of heat. Having to do this while worrying about being deported is totally wrong. #TheyFeedUs)

Besides being a crucial part of our life and well being, "Ana" also has photography skills. Beautiful photograph. She should be encouraged to pursue that skill.

We are just starting to see those beautiful grapes in the produce department. I am truly thankful for every bite of our food. When I’m fixing dinner I always think of and say a prayer for the hands that bring it to us.
