My personal view from the beginning is they should’ve just handed someone the keys at the beginning and let them have the trilogy. The jumping back and forth between directors and the harsh course correction after 8 didn’t do anybody any favours. nobody got their cake in that scenario.

there definitely needed to be a Feige figure in charge, and I feel like that's how Filoni wound up in charge now. Kathleen Kennedy does a fine job running Lucasfilm but there needed to be someone in between running Star Wars
