Ubuntu had the best documentation but linux mint is the most no frills. I always have driver issues on other distros but linux mint has been headache-less for me with that. highly recommend!

My personal view from the beginning is they should’ve just handed someone the keys at the beginning and let them have the trilogy. The jumping back and forth between directors and the harsh course correction after 8 didn’t do anybody any favours. nobody got their cake in that scenario.

I feel like when this movie came out critics understood this and appreciated it but the general audience misunderstood it as contempt for the series.
It is insane not only how good Rogue One is; but how much better it’s made by the existence of Andor’s two seasons. Crazy how much context that show adds to a movie that really didn’t need anything else and is a lot better for it.

hey i left windows for reasons such as above and honestly linux mint is… well its mint. super easy and i haven’t even had any drivers issues which tends to be the thing that gets in the way on other distros for me. give it a shot!

As someone who never even engages with story at all - how do you even do that? they don’t really make it clear there’s a story at all for new players. Also; why don’t they have books? i would read novels for each set. 40k has got it right in that regard.

i’ve had this cool idea for an OS boot up animation where it’s a tree and each leaf on it represents a file and each branch is a new directory. I think it could be a lot of fun to see your barren tree blossom with fresh leaves on boot, it becoming fuller as you use your pc more.
to be fair video games (the big leagues specifically) do be setting a low bar.
i’ve been using linux mint primarily for 3-4 months now and i have no regrets. Glad to hear it’s going well for you! I can also one up bitwig for music production, workflow is kind of the best of both FL studio and Ableton, in my mind.
