Tourism, governments & business promote it, everyone wants it, until you can't get a seat on the bus, book a taxi, or find a place to rent. And the Japanese want you to stop staring at their sacred Mount Fuji & taking your sacred snaps of it. Just cut it out!

No, but you can protest. You can voice to others. The media can (and is) expressing that voice. Nothing has changed since society was created. Besides having a vote. You make it sound ok for racists and the ill-informed to march because "they don't have a voice". Yet the march and have a voice.

The carefree attitude towards the future environment is shocking to me. How can people - especially with offspring -disregard the long term impact of today's actions? Don't they care about the environment that we hand on to our children? And there is the ignorance of things being done to others.

So far Phil, the ones suffering the most (drought, famine, rising coastline) are the ones causing the least amount of Global Warming leading to Climate Change. Wealthy least affected, so far. Ten years ago, someone sd when Wall Street says it's time to act we will see some action.

I can't be sympathetic with people who rebuild or refurbish homes destroyed by (almost) annual floods. Especially when the floods are becoming more severe.

It's a real thing. I see it in the cafe daily. Some children well behaved others tearing around, throwing toys around, screaming when they're denied anything. The difference is due to parenting (or not parenting).
