It's quite hard to reconcile the Labour leadership now with who they were (or purported to be) in opposition. Such a massive disappointment. I resigned my party membership a few months in.

Me too.
I've not met anyone who is in this strange group of 'Labour voters who are tempted to vote Reform' that the current leadership seem to think are their main audience. Perhaps I don't get out enough.
All Labour are doing is legitimising reform. It’s so depressing.
But I’ve met plenty in the group of “Ex-Labour members trying to decide between Corbyn’s new party and the greens”.
That will be decided for many on Tuesday when the greens pick a leader.
I’m one of them! 🙂
Me too. Just waiting to see if Zack Polanski wins the leadership or not. If so, I'll go with the Greens I think. Not impressed with the waffling on trans rights from the Corbyn outfit.
And I joined!
Appointing an out-and-out transphobe has guaranteed that Corbyn won't be getting my vote.
Really disappointing. Also seeing a number of TERFs among his party supporters on Bluesky.
💯
The Guardian vox popped then just this week. Like a 27 year old former labour voter who blames all of this on them and believes all our problems can be solved this way. They absolutely are real. I've seen it in my own family. Two siblings have gone this way, both former labour.
How unpleasant.
and yet all too common now. the media constantly banging this drum is getting into the heads of large numbers of people. you might not have met them but they are out there.
They’re apparently aiming for the even more elusive ‘British nationalists who might be persuaded to vote Labour” cohort, for reasons that are not yet clear
Well National SOCIALISM was in fact a thing.
Silly me!
"disappointment" is far too kind lol..more like treasonous level of betrayal after outright lying about intentions. nobody should ever trust Labour again on literally anything after this imo
Me too! Watching @yourpartyuk.bsky.social with interest but also impressed by @zackpolanski.bsky.social
I cut up mine when they voted to trigger Article 50.
👍
