If Tesla has figured out self driving, how come a Model Y has delivered itself from the dealership to the new owner’s home exactly once?

Saw one fail a slow right hand turn yesterday and put its nose into oncoming traffic. Totaled.
What I would like to see is if they figured out the economics of the robo-taxi service. I might be wrong, but I think taxi drivers aren’t all that well paid, and I don’t see how labour costs will magically turn into profit, and even if they do it’s still not enough money to cover the investment.
I mean, it might make some sense in the US. But elsewhere it will bump into regulations (EU), or will make no economic sense since driver wages are low and the cars used as taxis are orders of magnitude cheaper than anything capable of self driving.
That fulfilled all the orders for now
b/c it was a fucking publicity stunt like everything else
