They tell people outside of Texas that its cowboys and guns and rodeos and brisket and overalls and horses so that more conservatives will move here, who then proceed to poison the culture here further and complain that they are still seeing gay and brown people.
I flew into DFW for a convention in Dallas. Where I come from the winner keeps the pool table until someone beats them or they decide to quit. Down there, you had to buy 30 minute blocks of time to play pool. Nothing but concrete & plastic people down there. The Chicago convention was much better.
