I hope journos investigate the back story before the accident. Like why is it there other than an opportunistic 'insert aggrandizement here' spot? If police really 𝘸𝘦𝘳𝘦 involved, there'd be records at least. And was he driving? Did he get rear ended because he stopped in the middle of the busy road?

It was an allusion to the kickoff of the presidential race every four years. Some of the first places that candidates have to parade themselves is New Hampshire, and Manchester is Ground Zero for that. Rudy did not have a happy time running for president.
