the one direction short it’s bizarre! I spray painted both my T-Trak N Scale modules, after masking with tape and I didn’t have any issues. I did prep the top of the rail with a WD-40 applied with a foam brush to prevent adhesion and then ran a wood block over the top to remove paint after though
Yeah. I just don't get it! Whichever way the engine is facing, when powered through that particular track-painted module (whichever one "that" is), it shorts, but only forward! In reverse it runs. Powered from a different module, it runs. Not well, but it runs.
I've cleaned the track with an eraser, alcohol, acetone, and mineral spirits. Nothing seems to help, so I'm just done with it.
