I know the internet has never been a pure place of media literacy but I *really* feel like we are in the most obtuse era I have ever witnessed.

*looks at the way in which education has been handled by the government for the past few decades* I wonder what could have caused this. (I do wonder how we fix it. A lot of teachers are trying so hard.)

I'm married to one teacher and was raised by a teacher who teaches teachers how to teach, and yeah. So many people trying so hard, but at this point with both hands tied behind their backs.
