The Cracker Barrel rebrand was bad because it's just the latest rebrand into flat, boring, personality-free logos that every business has been doing over the last few years. Remodeled McDonald's look like dental offices now. Popeyes, Taco Bell. All of them. It's the tech "clean lines" plague.

I miss the Taco Bell of my childhood so much! Restaurants (even, and maybe especially, fast food joints) had personality! It added to the experience. Now it's like you're ordering from/eating in a corporate office, which is just as depressing as it sounds.
