Tesla said *production* would start by mid-year, so maybe they'll make a couple (if they're stripped-down Model Ys that should be easy.) But mass production, sales seem a ways off.

Got it. FWIW - a local China report out a day before Reuters suggested the stripped-down Y could come in late 2025 if new Model Y sales flagged.
